Back in 2016, Razer launched the first laptop in the Blade Stealth line. Although there is no built-in graphics card, it will allow you to connect to the Razer Core accessory to use an external graphics card, both fighting heavy games and keeping the design. Compact and easy to move when there is no need for gaming.
Today, the famous gaming gear manufacturer has just released a new laptop called the Razer Book 13. Unlike the Blade Stealth, this laptop is designed exclusively for business people. It can be said that this is one of the first efforts of Razer to enter the ultrabook market, instead of just targeting gamers as before.
From the outside, the Razer Book 13 looks quite similar to the Blade Stealth 13 – still the Razer logo on the lid, the RGB keyboard, and a compact, minimalistic design. It is equipped with a 13.4-inch display, up to 4K resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio, instead of 16: 9 as on the Blade Stealth.
In terms of connectivity, the Razer Book 13 has one HDMI 2.0 port, two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports, a USB-A 3.2 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. It comes with Intel’s Iris Xe GPU instead of a discrete graphics card. Products with physical dimensions of 11.6 x 7.8 x 0.6 inches and starting weight of 1.34kg, compact and lighter than Blade Stealth.
The new Razer laptop comes with dual speakers, a 4602mAh battery and a 720p webcam on the top bezel of the screen. Additionally, it also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and has Intel’s Evo certification. In other words, it’s an ideal laptop for everyday tasks, with a battery life of over 9 hours according to Intel Evo certification.
The Razer Book 13 comes in both Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) and 4K (3840 x 2400 pixels) display versions, both touch and non-touch. It comes with two processor options – Intel Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7, paired with 8GB / 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB / 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD.
The standard model of the Razer Book 13 costs $ 1200 (about 27.8 million), is equipped with a Full HD screen without touch, Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. Meanwhile, the upgraded version with Full HD touch screen, Core i7 chip, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD costs 1600 USD (about 37.1 million).
If you want a higher resolution screen, you will have to spend up to 2000 USD (about 46.4 million) for the 4K touch screen version, Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. As expected, the Razer Book 13 will be available immediately this month.
