Pouring 26 million USD, Foxconn officially found “a stop” in Vietnam

Hong Hai Science and Technology Group (Foxconn) has officially decided to invest in a project in Dong Mai industrial park – Viglacera, Quang Ninh province.

With the scale of 10 hectares, the factory here will assemble TV screen components, estimated total investment in phase 1 is USD 26 million and labor demand of 3,000 people. The effectiveness of this project will be the basis for Foxconn to continue researching and investing in expanding more fields in the future.

Foxconn Group is a longtime partner of Apple

The land lease in Dong Mai Industrial Zone is part of Foxconn’s development and expansion strategy.

Since the beginning of this year, Foxconn has researched opening an assembly plant in Quang Ninh, and participated in meetings with the PPC to explore investment opportunities. After thorough investigation, the Group decided to sign a 10-hectare land lease contract in Dong Mai Industrial Park owned by Viglacera.

Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of orders in the world and currently has more than 100 companies and branches in countries such as China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, England, France, Vietnam …

Invested with a total capital of 30 million USD by Viglacera Corporation – Joint Stock Company, Dong Mai Industrial Park with the scale of 168 ha, with synchronous infrastructure system.
