On March 6, Vingroup Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong announced the establishment of Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (Green and Smart Mobility – GSM) with a capital of 3,000 billion VND, a unit specializing in providing services to customers. car rental, electric motorbike and VinFast taxi service.

Immediately after its establishment, GSM company announced to find a taxi driver partner. Accordingly, when registering to join the GSM partner community, drivers have the opportunity to receive many attractive working benefits such as hard salary up to 11 million VND, commission up to 25% of total monthly revenue. Some other benefits include participating in social insurance after 2 months of probation, training in the transport service industry and consulting a clear career path.

To become a GSM driver, applicants need to meet the requirements such as being between the ages of 21 and 55 and possessing a B2 driver’s license or higher. More than 6 months of driving experience, having worked at technology car companies, traditional taxis, and contract drivers is an advantage. In particular, the driver must be familiar with the geographical area inside and outside Hanoi.

Owning an investment scale of 10,000 cars and 100,000 motorbikes, operating in 2 main segments: electric taxis and electric car – motorbike rental, GSM is expected to go into operation next month in Hanoi.

Specifically, GSM will let transportation service companies such as taxis, motorbike taxis and their employees rent cars – electric motorbikes to carry passengers. At the same time, GSM also operates its own taxi service by electric cars. This is the first green complex transport service model deployed in Vietnam as well as in the world, which, according to VinFast, is aimed at popularizing the electrified travel experience.
