At CES 2022, we not only see spectacular TVs, but also small devices that serve an important purpose in life. Oral-B also participated in the event, and it announced its latest, most advanced smart toothbrush, the iO10 with iOSense, which builds on the first iO launched in 2020.

A key new feature brought to the iO10 is real-time brushing progress information, built directly into the charging dock of the brush, allowing you to monitor brushing time, pressure and range. hit without bringing your smartphone into the bathroom. Your brushing data will then sync with the Oral-B app to better understand your brushing habits.

iO10 has seven different cleaning modes, including Daily Clean, Sensitive, Super Sensitive, Intense, Whitening, Gum Care, and Tongue Clean. According to Oral-B, a built-in pressure sensor helps keep your gums healthy and protected by displaying a red light when you brush too hard and a green light when you brush moderately.

Oral-B hasn’t revealed a price or release date for the iO10, but customers can sign up for a waitlist to be notified when it’s on sale. The previous generation iO brush retailed for around $299.99 in the US.

Oral-B is also launching more affordable iO4 and iO5 electric toothbrushes, each of which will cost less than $100. They will have the familiar iO technology, but fewer cleaning modes and no tracking built into the charging dock.

Each toothbrush will display a rainbow-colored congratulatory light after you’ve brushed for two minutes, and the iO5 will let users track real-time brushing information through the Oral-B app.

iO4 and iO5 will be available in the US in 2022 in multiple colors. A specific release date has not been provided.
