Oppo is about to push the limit of Super VOOC fast charging technology to 80W

Oppo has introduced 66W fast charging technology with Oppo Reno Ace and it is likely that we will soon see the Oppo 80W Super VOOC technology put into operation. Another leak shows the upcoming Nubia Red Magic 5G will come with 100W fast charging. Currently, it seems Oppo will join Nubia with becoming one of the leading companies in the field of fast charging.

An account called Digital Chat Station has revealed this information on Chinese social networks. This person has uploaded an image of an Oppo smartphone using 80W fast charging technology. Currently, there is not much information about Oppo’s new charging technology but it is expected that it will appear on one Oppo Reno in the future.

The next smartphones may be Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro. However, Brian Shen (the company’s vice president) confirmed that they will be released with SuperVOOC 65W charger. This is why OPPO’s Super VOOC technology will not appear earlier than March.

Last September, Realme also released a teaser on the charging technology. According to the company, Super VOOC 80W can charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 20 minutes. Oppo 80W SuperVOOC is undoubtedly a promising technology for smartphones this year.
