OPPO and partners are ready to commercialize 5G smartphones in 2020

OPPO is one of the few pioneers exploring 5G technology. Since announcing the pursuit of this technology, the company has continuously cooperated with many major technology corporations and carriers for research and application. Typically at MWC 2019, OPPO has quickly cooperated with US technology giant Qualcomm to become the pioneer phone company to integrate 5G X50 modem on the phone.

In Vietnam, Reno 5G was also chosen to successfully test 5G connectivity with Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group. OPPO has also revealed that it will commercialize 5G smartphones by 2020.
