Open the Galaxy Buds Pro headset box: Samsung’s first half of 2020 TWS trump card, more features and better value for money
- Tram Ho
Galaxy Buds Pro is Samsung’s true wireless headset device, launched at the Unpacked 2021 event in January and has also been officially sold in Vietnam market at a price of 4,990,000. copper.

Currently, our market has 3 color versions: Purple, Silver and Black. In the picture are two product boxes in Silver and Black, pay close attention to you can distinguish the colors of both headphones printed on the box.

In general, the product box is packed neatly, nothing more than headphones, earplugs according to size and charging cable.

From the outside, the Galaxy Buds Pro headphone charging box is no different from its predecessor Galaxy Buds Live. As shown in this photo, the Buds Live is copper and there are two remaining boxes of the Galaxy Buds Pro.

However, when opened inside you will notice a lot of difference in both models: the Buds Pro (right) has a raised bezel above the charging area, and the earbud also has a change in the design.

Removing the unique but difficult-to-wear bean design of the Buds Live, the Buds Pro has been brought back to the traditional ear-ear style by Samsung and honestly, this is the most optimal design up to the present time.

With the use of rubber ear cups, along with active noise cancellation (ANC), Buds Pro headphones make the music experience much better than previous generations.

Galaxy Buds Pro is equipped with up to 2 speakers per ear, an 11mm woofer and a 6.5mm tweeter for better sound quality.

Buds Pro also has 3 microphones and the ability to direct radio waves (beamforming) to separate the user’s voice from the surrounding environment. Buds Pro’s low-surface design and mesh-covered sound chamber not only limit wind noise, but also can filter out any wind hissing while talking on the street.

The new feature on this headset is to be able to recognize when the wearer is communicating, the volume will gradually decrease and switch to Ambient Mode to help clearly hear what the opponent is saying. After a few seconds if the wearer no longer communicates, the headphones will automatically return to noise canceling mode and increase the volume again.

The writer himself has experienced this feature and it works almost 99% correctly, except for a few small cases when listening to music and not communicating, but the headphones still automatically switch Ambient Mode .. .

In addition, Galaxy Buds Pro is also water resistant IPX7 standard. According to TheVerge, this is the highest rating for Samsung earbuds as well as any other competitor, like the AirPods Pro, Jabra Elite 85t and Bose Sport Earbuds, all of which are IPX4 only.

A few other features of this headset include 360-degree audio, Game Mode to reduce latency, connect and quickly switch between Galaxy devices. The only thing that is unfortunate is that the Galaxy Buds app on the iOS platform currently does not support this new headset, meaning users cannot customize features and EQ as they like.
