OnePlus’ upcoming mid-range smartphone revealed: Beautiful design, 108MP camera

Following the mid-range segment that has achieved much success, OnePlus is said to be preparing to launch a new smartphone in the same segment, called Nord CE 3. Recently, leak expert OnLeaks has shared Share Nord CE 3 specs and renders.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 will open up a new design language for the OnePlus Nord series, with a more square chassis and two large circular cutouts on the rear camera cluster. The flat edge design on the Nord CE 3 brings quite a lot of similarities with the OnePlus X, the smartphone that was considered OnePlus’ first foray into the mid-range segment back in 2015.

In terms of configuration, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to have a 6.7-inch IPS LCD flat screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, combining a punch-hole design with a “mole” in the middle to accommodate a 16MP selfie camera. Inside, the device brings hardware power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 processor, combined with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 will have a cluster of 3 cameras on the back, including a 108MP main sensor, 2MP macro camera and finally a 2MP depth camera. The device will be pre-installed with Android 13 operating system with Oxygen OS 13 interface when sold, comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.

It is expected that the OnePlus Nord CE 3 will be introduced in the first half of next year.
