The closer to the launch time, the more information about the OnePlus 8T is revealed. Recently, in order not to let its fans “guess the guesswork”, OnePlus manually posted a video “teasing” the design of the latest flagship to be released. The previous design confirmation video has been leaked.
OnePlus 8T – Designed to Perform
From the video above we can see that the OnePlus 8T will have a relatively changed design. Users will no longer have the familiar vertical camera cluster placed in the middle like previous generations, instead, the OnePlus 8T will have the main camera cluster located in the left corner and located in a rectangular module. This type of camera design is quite popular at the moment on both mid-range and high-end models.
The color option of the OnePlus 8T in the teaser video is called Aquamarine Green (turquoise). This is a new color but is still based on the Glacial Green color of the previous OnePlus 8. The back of the new OnePlus 8T will be a glossy back like OnePlus 8, not a matte glass back like the Pro version. OnePlus says it has used up to 7 layers of components to be able to create a premium glass back with blue and green effects blending together on the OnePlus 8T.
As expected, OnePlus will launch only one version, the OnePlus 8T on October 14. Currently there is no information about the Pro version, but the company may delay the launch of the Pro version next year. The standard OnePlus 8T version is said to have a 120Hz Full HD + AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 865 chip and a 65W super-fast charging battery.
