OnePlus Nord CE 2 coming: Is it a renamed version of OPPO Reno6?

On February 17, OnePlus will introduce a new mid-range smartphone called OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. However, at the moment, information about this smartphone is almost completely revealed, from design to internal hardware.

Specifically, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will have a design that is both new and familiar. The device will have a glass back with a redesigned camera cluster, but in a very “OPPO” style, especially the camera bezel is designed to resemble the camera on the upcoming Find X3 or Find X5. In addition, the “1+” logo is still centered. The leaked version in the image below is the Bahama Blue color option, a typical blue tone of OnePlus devices.

The main camera cluster of OnePlus Nord CE 2 will include 3 lenses: 64MP wide angle, 8MP ultra wide angle and 2MP macro.

On the front, OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, Full HD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. This screen uses a “mole” design with a 16MP or 32MP selfie camera. In addition, the screen also integrates an optical fingerprint sensor.

In terms of performance, OnePlus has also confirmed that this device will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, a 4500mAh battery as well as support for 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device runs on ColorOS 12 platform with Chinese domestic version.

If you feel the above parameters are familiar, then yes, almost all of the hardware of the Nord CE 2 was brought by OPPO from the Reno6, with only a slight change in battery capacity (and possibly the selfie camera). .

OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be introduced on February 17 in the Indian market and most likely will not be introduced in Vietnam.
