According to Shopee, a personal seller specializing in phone accessories on this platform earned 13 billion VND in 24 hours on 12/12.

Phone accessories are in the top 3 most purchased categories on Shopee on 12/12 shopping day. A total of 830,000 phone accessories were sold within 24 hours of this day.

Health – beauty, housing – life are the two remaining categories with outstanding purchases. For every minute that December 12 passes, 1,000 skin care products are sold. Number of products for kitchen utensils & dining table accessories sold during the day reached 60,000 units.

According to Shopee’s statistics, Hanoi is the place with the most active shopping, at peak times, up to 550,000 products are sold.

Vietnamese consumers aged 18 to 34 are the most active shopping age group; This group is particularly fond of Bluetooth headsets with more than 15,000 products sold on 12/12.

Meanwhile, Tiki recorded private sales on December 12, growing 10 times compared to normal days and 3.4 times higher than the same period last year. Orders increased 8 times and sold products increased 10 times compared to normal days.

In addition to shopping, e-commerce platforms also offer entertainment activities such as games, prizes, performances, and livestreams. These activities cause users to spend hours on the application.

After the December 12 sales, some platforms will continue their shopping campaign to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

Criteo, the advertising platform for many e-commerce sites in Vietnam, said major promotions such as 11/11, 12/12, Black Friday, … make users buy more, at the same time. are more familiar with online transactions.

Besides the double 11/11 and 12/12, vendors are testing other shopping days like 9/9, 10/10.
