At the end of May, Samsung announced the mid-range Galaxy M62 smartphone to succeed the M51 that was announced at the same time last year. Like the previous product, the Galaxy M62 will be a product designed by the Korean technology company for those who require long-term use, with a “terrible” battery capacity of up to 7000mAh.
Galaxy M62 owns a fake glass back that the company calls “Glassic” which is quite familiar in A-series smartphones that M-series from Samsung. But this is probably the most glass-like Glasstic back ever, we can almost use it to look in a mirror!
This back is decorated with parallel lines stretching from the top of the device and fading when going down. Galaxy M62 has 2 versions, Cobalt Blue and Platinum Black we have here.
The cluster of square cameras with rounded edges is placed on the left side of the device, with 4 units including a 64MP high-resolution main camera, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro and 5MP depth sensor.
The machine is made quite thick, up to 9.5mm. This is understandable when the device owns a battery with a large capacity of up to 7000mAh. According to the company’s announcement, this battery can listen to music continuously for 6 days, talk for 2 days and watch movies for 1 day.
The right side has a capacitive fingerprint sensor and 2 adjacent volume buttons.
Although it has used an AMOLED screen, the M62 has not yet been equipped with a fingerprint sensor under the screen. The type of side sensor used by the company is also of good enough quality, placed in a position that fits the thumb when holding the device.
The left side is a slot for 2 SIMs and a micro SD card.
And finally, the bottom edge is the USB Type-C charging port (up to 25W), the 3.5mm music port and the single speaker hole.
The Galaxy M62 is a smartphone for those who like “big” and “big” specs. Besides the 7000mAh battery mentioned above, there is a FullHD + AMOLED screen as large as 6.7 inches.
The spacious screen will be able to display larger, clearer content, but will also make the device cumbersome for those with small hands.
The screen is designed with thin edges, with Infinity-O cutouts to place the 32MP front camera.
In terms of other parameters, the device owns Exynos 9825 processor (8 cores on 7nm process), with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
The device has been running Android 11 since opening the box with the latest OneUI 3.1 interface from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy M62 has an official selling price of VND 9.99 million, but there will be a reduction of only VND 8.99 million with a few gifts in the opening sale on June 6.
