Specifically, every year, the average salary of Samsung employees ranges from 133 million won to 138 million won. This figure is slightly lower than 144.6 million won in 2021 but higher than the salary in 2020. It is known that the ratio of Samsung Electronics employees’ salaries to revenue has gradually decreased year by year: from 8% in 2020 to 7.9% in 2021 and then to 7.5% in 2022.

In addition, in 2022, Samsung Electronics also revealed that it spent a total of 22.5 billion won (equivalent to more than 400 billion dong) on ​​salaries for 11 Directors (those at the CEO level). The average salary of Internal Directors is about 4.36 billion won (equivalent to 77 billion VND). This figure is quite high, but in fact it has decreased by more than 40% after just one year.

According to the same report, the average salary difference between CEO-level executives and Samsung employees is about 32 times. This number increased compared to 2019 but decreased compared to 2021.

Reportedly, Samsung Electronics employed 12,957 employees last year. 6,189 employees have resigned, while 12,957 are officially retired. As of the end of fiscal year 2021, the Korean company has more than 266,000 employees working in factories and offices in the country.
