Last September, Nokia – the brand owned by HMD Global – launched many products at IFA 2019, including the Nokia Power Earbuds wireless headphones. Recently, this model has just been officially launched and started to be sold in the Chinese market.
Design and features
The Nokia Power Earbuds have two color options, black and light gray, but currently only black versions are available. Each side of the headset measures 25 x 23 x 23.8mm, while the charging case measures 79 x 48.5 x 31mm.
The new Nokia earphone model supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, which is IPX7 waterproof. Thanks to that, users can feel secure when using, because Nokia Power Earbuds can still survive if they fall into the water at a depth of 1 meter within 30 minutes.
One of the most outstanding features of Nokia Power Earbuds is its impressive battery life. According to the manufacturer’s announcement, this headset model can last up to 150 hours of use (equivalent to nearly 1 week) if used with a charging case.
The headset alone, it can play music continuously for 5 hours on a full charge. It is known that each headset battery has a battery capacity of 50mAh, while the battery capacity of the charging case is 3000mAh. Notably, the Nokia Power Earbuds’ charging case uses a USB-C connector and this is a really big plus.
The Nokia Power Earbuds headset is equipped with a driver with a 6mm-sized graphene membrane, supports Google Assistant and allows users to activate easily with the click of a button. In addition, you can also order Google Assistant when you are not hands-free with the familiar dialog – “OK, Google”.
