GE76 Raider comes in two versions: a SKU with a minimalist design, essentially the 2020 GE66 Raider, but a larger one; and the Dragon Edition Tiamat (DET), named after a powerful goddess of Babylon. Both versions feature MSI’s exclusive SteelSeries RGB integrated chassis system.
In terms of configuration, GE76 Raider and GE76 Raider DET are equipped with Core i9-10980HK CPU, RTX 3080 Mobile GPU (10UH variant) or RTX 3070 Mobile (10UG variant). When purchasing the device, customers can choose a 17.3-inch monitor with UHD or FHD resolution, in which the FHD resolution will have two panels 240Hz or 300Hz.
Included with the Core i9-10980HK CPU is up to 64GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 2 NVMe PCIe Gen3 SSDs. GE76 Raider also has super-fast networking thanks to the LAN Killer E3100 2.5G card and the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 WLAN module.
Meeting all the expectations for a flagship gaming laptop, the MSI GE76 models come with all the necessary USB ports. Although there is no Thunderbolt 3 port like last year’s GE66 Raider, in exchange, the GE76 Raider has a 20Gbps USB 3.2 Gen2x2 port. It is equipped with a 4-cell 99Whr battery, allowing you to comfortably play games when you take it out without having to find a charger.
The official selling price and date of the MSI GE76 Raider have not been announced yet.
