More than 90% of iPhone users are loyal to the Apple brand

In the US, Apple has always been in a strong position and the latest report from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) shows that more than 90% of iPhone users are still loyal to this brand. By comparison, less than 70% of Samsung users buy new phones from the same company.
CIRP points out that a large part of that is because Apple is the only company that makes iOS devices. Meanwhile, Android users can easily change from one manufacturer to another while keeping their favorite features. According to CIRP, Samsung’s rate is quite high because US customers don’t have much choice – there are hardly any Chinese brands selling in the US, thanks to which LG and Motorola appear on the charts like in the old days.
The data also revealed that Apple accounted for 43% of all smartphone sales in the US over the past three years. Coming in second is Samsung with 31% and LG in third with 9%, but perhaps there will be big changes since LG shut down its smartphone division.
