The patent with the title “Charging device for removable input modules” is submitted on July 9. It is like a wireless removable device for iPhone or electronic devices.

Although the patent does not mention the Xbox Controller. It seems that the device is a charger for the Xbox handle and can be disassembled or attached to touch screen devices, and acts as a control handle.

The controller also supports headphone jacks, wireless headsets and built-in speakers. The patent describes a device with an integrated charging mechanism and other components configured to receive the input module. This module controller has an external power supply port. This device is also capable of supplying power to one or more input modules mounted on the device.

According to designer Sarang Sheth from Yanko Design, the idea of ​​Microsoft will fix the common problems on many handheld devices, such as poor grip and the screen is blurry, greasy.
