Microsoft officially disables Internet Explorer permanently

Accordingly, when the user clicks on the IE (Internet Explorer) icon, the software will not start and the screen will suggest the user to use the Microsoft Edge browser.
Previously, in June 2022, Microsoft announced to stop supporting Internet Explorer (IE) 11.11 – the latest version of the web browser used by default on Windows.

Although, according to Microsoft’s announcement, Edge will provide “a faster, safer and more modern web experience than Internet Explorer, but according to the latest data published by Stacounter, Edge accounts for just over 4% of computer usage.” compared to the most popular browser today is Google Chrome with over 65% usage.
