Microsoft is testing the design of the new Action Center, the corners look soft and more modern

The Windows 10 Action Center notification center and fast operation have been renewed to become more modern and elegant, suitable for the new Light interface on Windows 10.

Images shared by the Middle__ account on Reddit show the new Action Center interface on Windows 10 build version 18947. Note that this is just the interface being tested in Windows Insider program and not yet an interface official.

At first glance, the new Action Center has been redesigned with rounded corners that look more beautiful and modern. It also fits and blends with the Fluent Design design language that Microsoft is pursuing.

The notification bar section is separated from the quick operation shortcut area. This helps users to easily observe notifications and manipulate shortcuts faster. Moreover, the consistency in the interface continues to be a plus.

You can see that this Action Center interface has been optimized for Light theme on Windows 10. However, if it appears on Dark Dark background mode, it will be an interesting design.

If everything goes according to plan, Microsoft may release a new interface for the Action Center in an update released in the first half of 2020. According to the annual schedule, Microsoft may complete an update in March. and ready to release in April 2020. Of course, it all depends on whether the new update has a fatal error.

Perhaps Microsoft will soon test the new update now before launching to the public to avoid the car crash as before.

The next Windows 10 update this year is expected to be released in the fall, possibly October. However, according to experts, the upcoming update will only focus on features within the operating system. This means, Microsoft will not change many of the designs and interfaces that will be reserved for next year.

Currently Windows 10 builds released this fall are ready to be released to Windows Insider users within the Slow Ring. Meanwhile, Fast Ring users are now able to download and experience new things on the Windows 10 update released next spring.
