LG announced its IFA 2019 schedule, will launch a flagship smartphone with dual monitors

LG is also interested in folding screen trends, but approaches in a completely different way. At the MWC event 2019 earlier this year, LG launched V50 ThinQ with a second monitor that could be added, to provide a completely different user experience.

Although V50 ThinQ is not really successful, but LG still decided to continue to apply this dual screen design for the next flagship smartphone. In a newly released short video, LG confirmed this.

Besides, LG also revealed the launch date of this smartphone as of September 6, at the IFA 2019 event that will take place in Berlin. Traditionally, LG will launch a next V-series smartphone later this year. Therefore, it is likely that this mysterious smartphone will be V60 ThinQ.

With the second screen, LG's smartphone can be used as a virtual keyboard, gaming console, second window to play video or as a camera viewfinder when taking photos.

The other expected specifications of this flagship smartphone will be the Snapdragon 855 processor, three rear cameras, waterproof design and hope to still have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Folding screen smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Fold or Huawei Mate X also promise to be sold in September. Therefore, this time will be a tough competition for LG.
