Launching VinFast VF e34 – Vietnam’s hottest electric car ready to roll on the street

The electric motor has a maximum capacity of 110 kW, maximum torque of 242 Nm, with front-wheel drive. 42 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, can travel a distance of nearly 300 km after each full charge. Charging stations are being installed in provinces and cities to serve the VF e34 and also other electric car models that will appear in the near future such as VF e35 or VF e36. As planned, VinFast will complete about 2,000 charging stations with 40,000 charging ports by the end of 2021. To date, the company has installed about 10,000 charging ports in 62/63 provinces.

According to the company announced, they install 4 types of charging posts with different charging capacities. Cylinders usually have a capacity of 11 kW, allowing to charge 10% to 70% in about 2 hours and 10 minutes. Fast charging has 3 types. The first type has a capacity of 30 kW, charging 10% to 70% in 1 hour. The 60 kW power type charges 10% to 70% in about 30 minutes. The fastest type has a capacity of 250 kW. With a fast charging station, the car only needs to be charged for nearly 18 minutes to cover a distance of about 180 km.

In case users want to charge at home, VinFast offers 2 types of mobile chargers with a capacity of 2.2 kW and 3.5 kW, suitable for the family’s 220 V electricity, allowing charging from 10% to 70% battery for 7-11 hours. In addition, a home-installed wall charging system with a capacity of 7.4 kW charges the battery from 10% to 70% in about 3 hours and 15 minutes.

VinFast VF e34 has a list price of VND 690 million. Customers who order for the first time enjoy a preferential price of VND 590 million and are supported with a battery subscription package for the first year.
