Launched iQOO Z7i 5G: The first smartphone equipped with Dimensity 6020 chip, priced at just over 3 million

vivo recently introduced a new smartphone called iQOO Z7i. This is a new model in the low-cost segment, and also the first phone in the world equipped with the Dimensity 6020 chip.

Mediatek Dimensity 6020 is a chip built on a 7nm process, aimed at 5G models in the low-cost segment. Dimensity 6020 includes 8 cores, including 2 Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. The integrated graphics GPU is Mali-G57. The new chip supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, Dimensity 6020’s ISP image processor can support cameras up to 64MP resolution. In addition, Dimensity 6020 supports FHD + resolution screens at a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.

On the side of iQOO Z7i, this model has a flat back design, square frame. The front of the machine is a 6.51-inch screen, using an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of HD + +, without a high refresh rate. This screen uses a “water drop” design with a 5MP selfie camera, the screen border is a bit thick at the bottom edge.

On the back, iQOO Z7i is equipped with a dual camera system including a 13MP f/2.2 wide-angle camera with a 2MP macro camera. The device has 2 color options: black and blue.

In terms of performance, as mentioned, Z7i equipped with Dimensity 6020 chip is a cheap 5G chip. It has 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh, supports 15W fast charging.

In terms of price, iQOO Z7i is on shelves in the Chinese market with a starting price of 949 yuan, equivalent to about 3.25 million dong.
