Latest revelation: iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a thicker body, no physical buttons

3D models of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max have leaked online. Accordingly, this smartphone will have a thicker body and will not have physical buttons.

In a tweet posted on Saturday, account Ice Universe revealed 3D models of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, saying: “Compared to 14 Pro Max, the bezel of the phone is narrower but thicker.”

Earlier, many rumors suggested that the iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphone will have a screen panel of 2,500 nits like Samsung’s.

Last month, it was also reported that the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a periscope folding zoom camera, although it will only be equipped with the highest-end iPhone model.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max’s camera may be less annoying

The iPhone’s protruding camera has annoyed users for years because it causes the device to wobble when placed on a flat surface. Another workaround is to use a case to balance the shake.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to have thinner bezels but a thicker titanium alloy middle frame. It measures 159.86 mm × 76.73 mm × 8.25 mm and the total thickness including the camera protrusion is 11.84 mm.

For comparison purposes, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has dimensions of 160.7 mm x 77.6 mm x 7.85 mm with a total thickness of 12.03 mm.

This means the overall dimensions of the device will be smaller than the iPhone 14 Pro Max as it will make some cuts in height and width.

However, the numbers suggest that while the main body of the 15 Pro Max will be thicker, the shallow camera protrusion will make the total thickness smaller than that of the 14 Pro Max.

Another report claims that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models are likely to feature new features like solid-state buttons with haptic feedback, titanium frames, and increased RAM.
