iQOO launches Snapdragon 888 smartphone, with 120Hz AMOLED screen, 66W fast charging, priced at VND 9.7 million

On the evening of December 20, iQOO, vivo’s sub-brand, launched two new smartphone models called iQOO Neo5S and Neo5 SE. Both have strong performance with Snapdragon 888 and 870 processors, but still have affordable prices, from only 7.9 million.

iQOO Neo5S

Neo5S is a more advanced version of the smartphone duo introduced by iQOO last night. The device has a relatively high-end design with a matte glass back, a relatively familiar design language for many previously launched iQOO smartphones. The device has 3 color options: black, aurora and a typical orange color.

iQOO Neo5S is equipped with a 6.62-inch screen on the front, using an AMOLED panel with a “mole” design, Full HD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen is a flat screen, with a 16MP selfie camera placed in the middle.

The main camera cluster of Neo5S on the back includes 3 lenses: 48MP wide angle, 13MP super wide angle and 2MP macro.

In terms of performance, with the appearance of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Snapdragon 888 processor is equipped by many manufacturers down to mid-range smartphones, and iQOO Neo5S is no exception. iQOO Neo5S offers an attractive level of performance for the price. It has 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The included battery has a capacity of 4500mAh, 66W fast charging.

Neo5S runs on Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean interface.

iQOO Neo5 SE

Neo5 SE is a shortened version of Neo5S, but still has strong performance thanks to Snapdragon 870 processor. This machine has the same design language as Neo5S. The main camera cluster on the back has an identical layout, but differs in parameters, including a 50MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. Neo5 SE also has 3 color options: black, blue and white.

The device is equipped with a 6.67-inch view on the front, using a “mole” IPS LCD panel, Full HD + resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. The 16MP selfie camera is also placed in the middle.

As mentioned, Neo5 SE is equipped with Snapdragon 870 processor, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage memory. The battery has a capacity of 4500mAh and has 55W fast charging. This version also runs Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean interface.

iQOO Neo5S has a starting price of 2699 yuan, equivalent to 9.7 million, while Neo5 SE has a starting price of 2199 yuan, equivalent to 7.9 million.
