vivo has recently launched a new iQOO 9 series with two versions: iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. Both of these machines have a beautiful design, an attractive level of performance at an attractive price with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, along with a 120W super-fast charging capacity.

iQOO 9 Pro

iQOO 9 Pro is the most advanced version in this 9 series. In fact, both versions have an almost identical design language, and the internal hardware is almost identical in terms of performance. The difference only comes from the screen as well as the camera.

iQOO 9 series has a completely redesigned back, but still has the unique characteristics of iQOO smartphones so far. The main camera cluster is designed to be fully extended, taking up about 1/4 of the back despite only having three lenses. In terms of specifications, the Pro version is equipped with a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 150-degree field of view, and a 2.5X 16MP OIS telephoto camera. The machine has two color options: orange and an exclusive BMW M Motorsport Edition color.

On the front, iQOO 9 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch screen, using a 10-bit E5 LTPO AMOLED panel, QHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This screen uses a “mole” design with a 16MP selfie camera, integrated with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

In terms of performance, iQOO 9 Pro is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage memory. The battery has a capacity of 4700mAh, supports 120W super fast charging wired with the included charger, 50W fast wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging. iQOO 9 Pro runs on Android 12 with Origin OS Ocean interface.

The standard version of iQOO 9 series still has the same performance advantages as the Pro version. The device is still equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage memory. The battery is kept the same 4700mAh capacity and also supports 120W super fast charging but does not support fast wireless charging.

The design of the standard iQOO 9 is similar to the Pro version, but with an additional black color option. In addition, the main camera on the back also has a change, including a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2X 12MP telephoto camera.

On the front, iQOO 9 has the same 6.78-inch screen, but this screen is an AMOLED screen with a resolution of only Full HD +, but still supports 120Hz. The 16MP selfie camera is placed in the middle.

Price

iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro will be on sale from January 12 here in the Chinese market with starting prices of 3999 yuan and 4999 yuan respectively, equivalent to 14.3 million and 17.9 million dong.
