iPhone 13 is so boring, Google Nexus account has to “come back to life” after 4 years to say: Will wait for Pixel 6

Apple has just officially launched the iPhone 13 series and of course, the social networking accounts of Android manufacturers will take this opportunity to polish their own names, but most notably Google, which is gearing up for the launch of the Pixel 6 series.

Google doesn’t use regular accounts to tease Apple. Remember when Google used to have a Nexus line instead of a Pixel? Google just “revived” Nexus, not revived the device line, but … Twitter account.

It seems that after four years, Google suddenly remembered that it also had a Google Nexus Twitter account and used it to mock Apple and advertise the Pixel 6. The last time this account was active was on October 16, 2017, with content about exchanging old phones for Pixel 2. Last year, this account was made private by Google.

Just seconds after the iPhone 13 event ended, the Nexus account spoke after 4 years of silence: “I will wait for Pixel 6”.

Maybe this is an advertisement by Google, but obviously the spread will be limited because this account is private and only visible to Twitter users who have not unfollowed since years ago, or Because the event is so boring, Google has to give this account a “grave alive” to say that the Pixel 6 is better? Anyway, seeing the Nexus account again helps us reminisce about the days when this smartphone line was still popular.
