You can set it or not

After the installation process is complete. You can enter the details that the server you have installed. Which contains login information for you to ssh to the server.

For you dev to make website and server array will no longer be strange with manipulating VPS or server anymore.

III. Snapshot feature in vultr

This is a pretty interesting feature and I also use it while installing VPS in vultr.

There is a problem like this: I often need to create a lot of vps for the systems I do. For example, for every outsource, I need to create a vps for the customer, which leads me to repeat the same vps setup.

If you just need to install vps, it’s okay, it’s important to install the environment and other necessary things like JDK, mysql, nodejs, setting firewall, …. Once installed, all problems are also close to the language.

So instead of having to install and reinstall many times, I created a snapshot, like a copy of all the basic settings of that vps. Now when creating 1 vps. I just need to dump the entire copy as above into vps. The rest is for the system to do it itself.

Next we will go into the details of creating and using the snapshot:

1. Create a snapshot

You go to the detail of a VPS select the Snapshots tab

Fill in the name and click Take Snapshot

You wait until the process is complete

2. Use snapshot

In step, select Server Type of vps creation process. Instead of selecting 64 bit OS, select the Snapshot tab

Then select the snapshot that you want to restore. Other steps do the same as usual.
