Net profit margin reached 8.7% on revenue, equivalent to $ 58.3 billion after the first 6 months of 2019. Huawei also said it sold 118 million smartphones worldwide in the first half of this year, 59 million. each quarter, corresponding to 24% growth over the same period last year.
Liang Hua, chairman of Huawei, said: “Our revenue increased sharply in May, despite Huawei being blacklisted by the US. It also means that we have no problems. They can affect our growth in the short term, but that doesn’t stop our progress. ”
Besides, market analysis company Canalys also released new statistics, showing Huawei’s increasing dominance in the Chinese market. At home, Huawei crushed other rivals by taking 38% of the market. Second is OPPO with 18% and Apple with only 6%.
