Huawei P50 Pro + exposed: “waterfall” screen, cluster of 5 “super big” oval cameras
- Tram Ho
A few weeks ago, we got our first glimpse of the design of the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro through a series of renderings shared by OnLeaks . Both phones have a rather fancy look, with oval-shaped camera clusters – containing two circular cutouts and are made relatively large. However, both of these circles are left blank.

Today, another leaker , HoilNDI , shared a series of renderings of the Huawei P50 Pro + with a design never seen before, revealing the layout of the camera cluster and components that will be placed in the two circles mentioned above.
Specifically, Huawei P50 Pro + will be equipped with a total of 5 cameras, with a periscope lens and a smaller lens placed in the first circle. Meanwhile, the second circle below is home to three other camera sensors and one ToF sensor.

While it looks “pretty plausible”, these render images may not be 100% accurate. Last month, HoilNDI – the leaker shared a series of photos above, also uploaded another set of renderings of Huawei P50 Pro + with a slightly different design.
In fact, even though this is a render built on internal leaked information, manufacturers often test different smartphone prototypes before finalizing the design. On the other hand, the launch date of the P50 series is still quite far away – maybe even months away.

Initially, Huawei planned to launch the P50 series in March this year. However, as the US government ban has yet to be loosened, the company is said to have delayed its launch and cut production targets. As of now, it’s still not certain when the P50 series will launch, but the latest report suggests they will be announced in May.
