Huawei P40 Lite launched: 4 cameras, 40W fast charging, without Google, priced at 7.6 million

Huawei is expected to officially launch the P40 flagship on March 26, including the P40, P40 Pro and P40 Premium Edition. Just a month before the event, the Chinese manufacturer has just introduced the first member of this series called P40 Lite.

However, the P40 Lite is not a completely new phone model. Instead, this is considered a renamed version of Nova 6 SE – mid-range smartphone that Huawei launched in China in December last year.

The Huawei P40 Lite has a physical dimensions of 159.2 x 76.3 x 8.7mm and weighs 183 grams. It is equipped with an IPS LCD screen with a perforated design, in which the “mole” is located in the top left corner. This screen has a size of 6.4 inches, supports Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2310 pixels) and occupies 90.6% of the front of the machine.

Inside, the P40 Lite has the hardware power of a Kirin 810 processor built on 7nm process, combined with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, which can expand the storage capacity through the slot. microSD memory card. The phone comes with Android 10 pre-installed with EMUI 10 interface on sale, but unfortunately it doesn’t have Google services (GMS).

The Huawei P40 Pro has a rear 4-camera system placed in a square module and located in the upper left corner of the back. This camera cluster includes a 48MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, 8MP f / 2.4 wide-angle sensor with 120-degree viewing angle, 2MP f / 2.4 macro sensor with 4cm focal length and a 2MP depth sensor with aperture f / 2.4 degree. The P40 Pro comes with a 4200mAh battery, supports SuperCharge 40W fast charging with the ability to charge from 0% to 70% in just 30 minutes. It has a fingerprint sensor on the side, supports 2 SIMs, 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE and uses USB-C port.

Price and release time

As expected, Huawei P40 Lite will be pre-ordered in Europe from March 2, and then on shelves on March 16 at a price of 299 Euro (about 7.6 million). The phone has three color versions for users to choose, including Black (Midnight Black), Pink (Sakura Pink) and Blue (Crush Green).
