Huawei launches MateView screen: 28.2 inches, 4K ratio 3:2, with USB-C port, priced from 14.3 million

After a short time since its launch in China, Huawei has recently officially introduced MateView – its latest high-end screen model in the international market. In addition to the unique design, the product is also integrated with many advanced features and can be used as a smart screen.

Huawei MateView is equipped with a 28.2-inch IPS panel with 4K+ resolution (3840 x 2560 pixels), 3:2 aspect ratio, and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The screen supports 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, with ultra-thin bezels on all 4 sides with a display area of ​​up to 94%. It is known that the border on the left, right and top edges of the screen is 6mm thick, while the bottom edge is 9.3mm thick.

The back of the MateView has a fairly simple design with the dominant white tone and the Huawei logo in the middle. Through the stand, users can adjust the height of the monitor up to 11cm, as well as change the tilt angle between -5° and 18°.

All connectivity ports of Huawei MateView are located at the base, including two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, one MiniDP port and 3.5mm audio jack. More importantly, this monitor is also equipped with 2 USB-C ports, one of which is for power supply and one for display, data transmission and charging for other devices with a capacity of up to 65W.

Huawei MateView is equipped with dual 5W speakers on the front of the stand and built-in noise-canceling microphone, which is quite ideal for video calling. In addition, it also supports Wi-Fi connection for wireless image transfer to phones and computers, as well as Huawei Desktop feature via NFC touch operation.

To adjust the input parameters and images, users just need to swipe the touch bar located at the bottom edge of the screen.

Currently, Huawei has not announced the price of MateView in the international market. Previously in China, this monitor model was sold with a list price of 4699 yuan (about 16.9 million dong) for the Wi-Fi version and 3999 yuan (~ 14.3 million dong) for the non-Wi-Fi version.
