Huawei launches MatePad 11 tablet in Vietnam: 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 865, priced from VND 14 million

Huawei recently announced a new Android tablet in Vietnam market called MatePad 11. The advantage of this product line comes from a high-quality screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate, support for M-type stylus. Pencil 2nd generation with low latency, powerful hardware and running on the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 platform. Users will now have a new choice in the high-end tablet segment besides iPad and Galaxy Tab S.

As a product line in the high-end tablet segment, MatePad 11 possesses a design finished from monolithic metal. The back of the device is designed with a matte finish for a better user experience. Unfortunately, the semi-genuine version in Vietnam has only the “Dark Gray” option.

It is known that MatePad 11 is Huawei’s first tablet to support 120Hz refresh rate screen, providing a smoother experience during use. This screen of MatePad 11 has an 11-inch size, uses an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 (16:10 ratio), certified by TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light for its ability to filter blue light. The front of the device also integrates an 8MP selfie camera, the device has a 13MP main camera on the back.

In terms of performance, MatePad 11 is equipped with Snapdragon 865 chip, a flagship chip of last year, although not the most powerful at the moment, but still enough to bring an impressive performance. The device has 6GB RAM with 128GB storage memory. The included battery has a capacity of 7250mAh, supporting 22.5W fast charging.

The MatePad 11 is compatible with the M-Pencil (2nd generation). The M-Pencil features a new platinum-coated nib, ultra-low 2ms latency, and support for 4096 different levels of pressure sensitivity, for a real pen-like experience. Users can charge the M-Pencil simply by attaching the pen to the side of the MatePad 11.

By using the new HarmonyOS 2.0 platform, MatePad 11 users can get a consistent experience when using with other Huawei devices, especially when used with the Huawei Share feature. Huawei also equips its tablet with the ability to use it as a separate display by using Multi-Screen Collaboration with 3 different modes.

It should also be noted that MatePad 11 is not currently able to use Google services, users will have to completely depend on the AppGallery application store as well as other alternative applications. Currently, most of the popular apps with Vietnamese users such as Grab, Momo, FPT Play, TV 360, Monkey Stories, MB Bank, OCB bank, Viettel Post… are available on AppGallery.
