Huawei launched Mate40 RS Porsche Design: Class design, with extra camera to measure body temperature, priced at 63 million VND

In addition to the Mate40, Mate40 Pro and Mate40 Pro + trio, at the international launch event held tonight, Huawei also launched a super luxurious version of this year’s Mate series called Huawei Mate40 RS Porsche Design. This is a special version that Huawei cooperated with Porsche supercar company to launch the RS version as every year.

Like previous RS versions, the Huawei Mate40 RS Porsche Design has always had a bold design with the look of high-end Porsche sports cars. According to Huawei, the Mate40 RS is finished from ceramic materials with Nano-tech technology, giving an extremely luxurious and solid hand feel, while increasing the durability of the whole machine. Mate40 RS takes black and white as the main color tone, blending with soft vertical and curved lines, creating an extremely impressive smartphone. The device is available in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black color options.

On the front, the Mate40 RS Porsche Design is equipped with a “mole” screen similar to the Pro +. This screen has a size of 6.76 inches curved on the sides, using an OLED panel with a scanning frequency of 90 Hz, Full HD + 2772 x 1344 resolution. The “mole” area will be the place to place the dual 13MP selfie camera and 3D ToF camera. .

In terms of performance, the Mate40 RS Porsche Design is equipped with the Kirin 9000 5G chip built on the most powerful 5nm process, including 8 CPU cores and 24 Mali-G78 graphics cores. This chip also comes with an improved NPU processor to handle AI tasks. The battery of the device has a capacity of 4400mAh and supports 66W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging.

Mate40 RS Porsche Design will be sold with a memory option of 12GB + 512GB with the price of 2295 EUR, equivalent to 63 million VND, a price as high as compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 folding screen smartphone. Currently, Huawei has not announced the official sale date of this product.
