Yesterday (August 19), Huawei officially introduced the smart glasses integrated with bluetooth Eyewear 2 headset, during the launch event of the MateBook X 2020 laptop line held in China.
Basically, this is considered as an upgraded version of the Smart Eyewear the company introduced last year, and is also a product produced based on the cooperation between Huawei and Gentle Monster – the glasses brand. famous Korean eye.
Huawei Eyewear 2 is still equipped with the same technologies as its predecessor. The only difference is that it uses a completely new design and has a redesigned charging case.
The frames of these smart glasses are made of a titanium alloy that has a 12-degree opening / closing range. The glass section is integrated with 128mm² speakers on the sides and has a maximum volume of 12dB, thus ensuring privacy as only the wearer can hear the sound coming from the glass.
Through the glass, users can control the music player, accept / reject calls or activate the voice assistant with touch gestures, just like the first generation. The product supports Bluetooth connection, water resistance, wireless charging and can play music continuously for 5 hours.
The charging box of Huawei Eyewear 2 has a rectangular shape, the USB-C port and the notification LED are placed in the center. The smart glasses come in 4 versions with 4 different designs, called Smart Myma, Smart Verona, Smart Alio and Smart Catta.
As expected, Huawei will open pre-order Eyewear 2 in China from September 1 and start selling on September 10. Smart Myma and Smart Alio versions are priced at 2699 yuan (about 9 million dong), while Smart Verona and Smart Catta versions are sold for 2499 yuan (about 8.4 million dong).
