According to Ding Yun, the fake is that in many cases, the user’s mobile phone displays the 5G logo but does not have 5G coverage. The experience is still 4G, but the display is 5G. The stupidity lies in the fact that some places have coverage of 5G signal, but there is no 4G BTS station and cannot make calls. The bad thing is that there is 5G coverage in some places, but the 4G station is on the edge of the region. This makes transferring between 4G and 5G often a very poor experience.

5G networks in China are leading in the number of base stations, but are still poor in network quality.

Currently the number of 5G users in China has reached 150 million, but the match between networks, mobile phones and plans for 5G users is still very low. Many users have purchased the 5G plan but their mobile phones still only support 4G. There are also many users with 5G mobile phones, but not in 5G coverage area.

Of course, everything has its reasons. According to him, operating and maintenance costs are currently a difficult issue in 5G network development. The maximum speed of 5G is 25 times higher than 4G, but 5G equipment will significantly increase the power consumption of base stations, which poses a huge challenge for the entire power supply system.

And according to Ding Yun, it is now necessary to carry out the planned structural transformation of the IT platform to create a completely new digital base, otherwise the entire system will face a challenge. very large in two years, or at most three years from now.
