In early May, Honor – Huawei’s sub-brand launched the ultrabook line named Honor MagicBook 2020 in the Chinese market. The laptop comes with two screen sizes of 14 and 15 inches, using Intel’s 10th generation processors and integrated NVIDIA graphics card.
Recently, the Chinese manufacturer has just launched the Ryzen chip version for the 2020 MagicBook. The new product line still has two screen size options of 14 inch and 15 inch, comes with Ryzen 5 4500U CPU and Ryzen 7 4700U.
The MagicBook 15 2020 Ryzen Edition has three different configuration options, including two variants running the Ryzen 5 chip (8GB RAM + 256GB SSD and 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD), one variant using the Ryzen 7 chip (with 16GB RAM + SSD) 512GB).
Meanwhile, the MagicBook 14 2020 Ryzen Edition has only one variant running the Ryzen 5 chip and one variant running the Ryzen 7 chip. Both come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD.
More importantly, all of the aforementioned 5 configuration options of the MagicBook 2020 Ryzen Edition use DDR4 RAM and PCIe NVMe SSD.
MagicBook 14/15 2020 Ryzen Edition is equipped with screen sizes of 14 inches and 15.6 inches, respectively. They all support Full HD + resolution, have low blue light certification from TUV Rheinland and the screen area compared to the body is 84% and 87%, respectively.
Both laptops have a USB Type-C port (supports 65W fast charging), a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB 2.0 port, HDMI, 3.5mm headphone jack, fingerprint sensor, pop selfie camera. -up hidden under keyboard, single cooling fan and support Huawei’s multi-screen sharing feature.
Currently, Honor has begun selling MagicBook 14 2020 and MagicBook 15 2020 versions running Ryzen chips in China. Here are the specific selling prices for each corresponding configuration variant:
Honor MagicBook 14 2020 Ryzen Edition
– Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM + 512GB NVMe SSD: 3999 yuan (about 13.3 million dong)
– Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM + 512GB NVMe SSD: 4499 yuan (about 14.9 million dong)
Honor MagicBook 15 2020 Ryzen Edition
– Ryzen 5, RAM 8GB + 256GB NVMe SSD: 3599 yuan (about VND 11.9 million)
– Ryzen 5, RAM 16GB + 512GB NVMe SSD: 4199 CNY (about 13.9 million VND)
– Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM + 512GB NVMe SSD: 4699 yuan (about 15.6 million dong)
