Just earlier this year, Honor announced the first smartphone to mark the “post-Huawei” era, followed by the launch of Honor 50 series in June, also marking the return of Google services when no longer being blocked. imposed sanctions, and today, the brand officially introduces the all-new Honor 60 series with many powerful upgrades.
Honor 60 series includes two versions: Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro. Basically, both these devices have a lot in common, from design, screen to fast charging ability.
Honor 60 Pro
If Honor 50 series is the first smartphone series equipped with Snapdragon 778G processor, with Honor 60 Pro, this is also the first smartphone equipped with Snapdragon 778G + processor, an upgraded version of 778G. This is still a 6nm chip but overclocked from 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz as well as the Adreno 642L graphics GPU that promises to improve processing performance by 20%.
The design of the new Honor series still follows a familiar language, with a glass-finished back and a solid metal frame. On the front, Honor 60 Pro has a 6.78-inch curved four-sided screen, using a 1 billion-color OLED panel, 1200 x 2652 resolution and has a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen uses a “mole” design with a selfie camera of up to 50MP resolution.
Prominent on the back of Honor 60 Pro is the main camera with a characteristic design, including a 108MP wide-angle camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera.
Honor 60 Pro has a 4800mAh battery, supports 66W fast charging. The device runs on Android 12 with MagicUI 5.0 interface.
The Honor 60 is a stripped-down hardware version of the Pro. The device still has the same design but has a slightly smaller 6.67-inch screen, Full HD + resolution but still retains a high 120Hz refresh rate. The panel used is still 1 billion-color OLED and this is still a four-sided curved screen.
Honor 60’s camera retains the 108MP wide-angle sensor, but cuts the ultra-wide-angle camera to 8MP. In addition, the selfie camera is also cut to 32MP.
In terms of performance, Honor 60 is equipped with Snapdragon 778G processor similar to its predecessor. The battery has a capacity of 4800mAh and also supports 66W fast charging.
Honor 60 and 60 Pro will have 8GB or 12GB RAM options, 128GB or 256GB storage memory (Pro version). The starting price is 2699 yuan and 3699 yuan, respectively, equivalent to 9.6 million and 13.2 million dong in the Chinese market.
There is currently no information about the international version of Honor 60 series.
