Google releases big update for Pixel 6: Fix camera, fingerprint sensor and tons of other bugs

Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro since Google launched in October have encountered a lot of big and small errors, making the user experience significantly affected. Until today, Google has officially launched a major update for Pixel 6, to fix most of the existing errors of this flagship smartphone duo.

The biggest improvement of this update for Pixel 6 this time is the fingerprint sensor under the screen. Google promises to improve the performance and stability of the fingerprint sensor, making unlocking smartphones faster and more accurate.

Besides, there is a big improvement in the camera of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Improved camera image quality in preview mode. General improvements to the stability and performance of the main camera. Improved autofocus in some shooting modes. Improved color consistency when viewed through the viewfinder and when shooting.

Unfortunately, Google didn’t mention improvements and noise reduction when recording video on the Pixel 6. It looks like this issue still needs more time to fix.

In addition, the Pixel 6’s December update fixes a ton of other bugs. It can be mentioned that the screen flickers and does not convert the scan frequency correctly. Audio and Bluetooth connection errors are also fixed. Battery performance and temperatures are also improved under certain circumstances.

Notably, this update also makes it possible for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro to reach a maximum wireless charging speed of 23W with Pixel Stand 2. Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users can now download and install the update. This December update in the smartphone’s settings.
