Google purifies Chrome by removing a lot of features from users

Software and applications must be constantly updated, improved or added new features to meet the needs of users. However, in many cases, we may not even use half of the existing features of the software.

And that is why Google finally decided to purify Chrome browser, by removing a series of low-user features in the next update, instead of adding new features.

Instead of adding new features, Google will eliminate those few user features on the upcoming version of Chrome 78.

If you’re using the official version of Chrome 76, right-click on a top browser tab and you’ll see a menu with 10 different options. In it, you can choose to open a new tab, reload, copy, pin tab, mute, turn off another tab, reopen closed tabs and many other options.

Try asking yourself which of these options do you use most often? Perhaps no one opens a new tab in that way, we often press Ctrl + T or click the plus sign to open a new tab.

As reported by TechDows, Google will remove some options that few users come to on Chrome 78. The current test version has been shortened, eliminating options like opening new tabs, closing other tabs, Reopen closed tabs and bookmark all tabs.

That means you’ll have to be mentally prepared, if you regularly use one of these removed options. Personally, I often use the option to reopen closed tabs this way (right-click on the top browser tab), maybe after updating to the new version of Chrome I will have to learn how to use keyboard shortcuts. “Ctrl + Shift + T” more.
