Google Photos has an extra locked folder, helping to store private and private photos

Google just introduced a new feature to Google Photos, which is a locked folder that allows you to store private and private photos, which you don’t want others to see. Locked Folder will also have password protection, or use fingerprint sensor and Face ID.

Maybe you’ve shown off a few photos on your phone to other people, but then realized that there are a few personal photos you don’t want them to see. With Locked Folder, your personal photos will be hidden and not visible in the photo list, as well as in all other applications that have access to photos.

Google said that the Locked Folder feature will be released first on Pixel smartphones, then will be updated to other Android smartphones within a year.

This is not a new feature. Users can use 3rd party applications, or the Secure Folder feature is now available on Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones. However, a genuine security feature of Google Photos from Google will be much more convenient.
