Tram Ho

In the context of ChatGPT boom, search giant Google has launched Bard tool, to compete with competitors. Initially, Google leaders said that Bard’s artificial intelligence “does not always answer questions correctly” – according to NBC channel.

So on February 15, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Prabhakar Raghavan sent an email to Google search employees, asking to retrain Bard.

The content of the email emphasizes that in order to overcome the shortcomings and mistakes of AI, it is necessary to rely on human knowledge. CEO Prabhakar Raghavan also outlined what Googlers “should and shouldn’t do” before teaching Bard.

The “shoulds” of Google bosses instruct employees to keep answers “polite, casual, and approachable”. Responses should also be “in the first person” and maintain a “neutral, neutral tone”.

As for the “don’ts”, employees are asked not to stereotype and “avoid making assumptions based on race, nationality, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, ideology, etc. political ideas, places or similar categories”.

The email also asked Googlers to “not depict Bard as a human being, imply emotions, or claim to have had human-like experiences”.

In addition, employees were required to teach Bard to “disagree” to give “legal, health, financial” advice or to be hostile and abusive.

“AI learns best by example, so taking the time to carefully rewrite the answers will help us improve Bard” – still the message from the email of Google leadership.

The email from boss Prabhakar Raghavan also promised great rewards and for the 10 best employees to meet the team that created Bard.

Google announced the Bard artificial intelligence last week, but things didn’t go so well because it answered the wrong question about astronomy.

The subordinates then criticized the company’s leadership for being “rushed, spoiled and humorously short-sighted”.
