Game Jam 2019 is a 48-hour game creation competition for students and professionals with a passion for IT and love game development. Organized by Gameloft Vietnam, the competition has officially kicked off and will take place in Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City. Game Jam is a 48-hour mobile game design competition for those who are passionate about information technology, love to develop and program games in Vietnam. This is a playground for contestants to have the opportunity to interact, work with experts in the field of games and show their full creativity when making game products within a limited time with 2 competing tables: Student table and expert board.
This year, the competition is expanded to 3 locations in Hanoi, Da Nang and TP. HCM. More specifically, in order to celebrate 15 years of operation in Vietnam, Gameloft spent 150,000,000 VND on the total prize of Game Jam 2019 . The competition is not only a playground for students but also welcomes technology experts who love game programming with extremely attractive prizes.
At the event, the contestants will receive a topic from the organizers and have 48 hours in 2 weekend nights from November 8 to November 10, 2019 to develop their products. In particular, the Game Jam Day Information Day 2019 is held on October 26 in 3 cities to help contestants have more useful information about the competition as well as the opportunity to exchange and listen to the experiences.
