Galaxy A22 launched in Vietnam: OIS anti-shake camera, 90Hz screen, with 5G support version, priced from 5.9 million

Today, June 24, Samsung launched the Galaxy A22 series in Vietnam market after a short time of launching in the European market. Galaxy A22 includes two versions: 4G LTE version and 5G version. The advantage of the Galaxy A22 comes from the camera system integrated with OIS anti-shake technology, a 90Hz refresh rate screen and a large capacity battery.

Galaxy A22 is Samsung’s new mid-range smartphone series. In this segment, manufacturers often try to equip a few special features brought down from the high-end or high-end line to attract users. With the Galaxy A22, the feature that Samsung has focused on marketing this time is OIS anti-shake capability, one of the factors that is rarely equipped in smartphones priced below 6 million VND.

Galaxy A22 is equipped with 4 main cameras on the back, including 48MP wide-angle camera with OIS stabilization, 8M ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth camera. Particularly, the 5G version will omit the macro camera, has an ultra-wide-angle camera of 5MP and the main camera does not support OIS anti-shake technology.

The design of the Galaxy A22 is boldly characteristic of Samsung’s recently launched low-cost Galaxy lines. The device is completed from a plastic frame and back, the camera cluster is arranged in a square shape and has many color options.

On the front, Galaxy A22 LTE is equipped with a 6.4-inch screen using Super AMOLED panels, HD + resolution with 90Hz refresh rate, while the 5G version is equipped with a 6.6-inch screen, using TFT LCD panels, high resolution. Full HD + resolution but no high refresh rate. The LTE version uses the “Infinity-U” design and the 5G version is “Infinity-V”, which is still essentially a “waterdrop” screen. Both have fingerprint sensors placed on the side, not inside the screen.

In terms of performance, Galaxy A22 LTE will come with MediaTek G80 chip, 6GB RAM with 128GB memory. The 5G version will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip. This is a low-cost 5G chip developed by MediaTek to integrate on popular and accessible models to users. The included battery of both devices also has a capacity of 5000mAh, supporting 15W fast charging.

Galaxy A22 LTE will officially go on sale in Vietnam at retail systems nationwide with the suggested retail price of VND 5,890,000 from June 24, 2021 . The device includes color options such as Mint Blue, Unicorn Purple and Diamond Black. As for the Galaxy A22 5G version, Samsung will soon launch it in the near future.
