Galaxy A20s review: Big screen, 3 cameras are attractive, but the battery life and fast charging are worthy of praise

Many people think that a strong configuration, a beautiful screen or a new camera brings a good experience, but in fact, the battery life or charging speed is equally important. Therefore, Samsung has recently put these two factors on the mid-range models, even cheaply about 3-4 million VND. The main example is the Galaxy A20s – a slightly upgraded version of the A20 was released earlier this year.

At first glance, many people will think that the machine does not stand out, from the screen, the configuration to the camera. Compared to many other competitors on the market, the Galaxy A20s must be inferior when compared to the display quality or the ability to play games. So, how to use it, let's find out.

Enough game configuration?

Galaxy A20s uses an Snapdragon 450 octa-core chip, 3 / 4GB RAM and 720p HD resolution screen. With a configuration like this, it's almost impossible to play heavy graphics games like Asphalt 9 or Modern Combat. The low frame rate, instability and high delay make character control impossible.

Compared to the Galaxy A20, the A20s has an additional camera that supports image depth measurement to better capture Live Focus fonts. Theoretically this difference is not much, but the machine actually improved the image quality from the main sensor and ultra-wide angle lens as well.

Colors obtained from the main sensor look very natural, not harsh in all lighting conditions. The white balance is fine, but the HDR mode doesn't work very well, only getting a little more detail in the highlights. Also so that the photo looks normal, not "too" like many other models of the same price range.

Photos taken bright enough from both angles produce similar colors, only slightly deviating in dynamic contrast.

The ability to take pictures with a 4 million smartphone probably can't be better. Photos from the Galaxy A20s still have natural colors but are susceptible to blemishes and graininess. In addition, the machine tends to push the light too high so the image is overexposed, so you need to manually balance the EV on the screen.

Once the light balance has been adjusted, the photo looks a lot better on the eyes.

Fortunately, the Galaxy A20s camera does not try to sharpen details and colors, so it retains the naturalness of the image.

The feature of capturing and clearing the Live Focus font is actually better at taking out the subject, the bokeh is also smooth but of course only acceptable. Photos sometimes look a little bland, like an oil painting, especially when shooting in backlight.

The 4000mAh battery inside the Galaxy A20s is heavily promoted in terms of usage time, plus 15W fast charging technology that makes many people excited. The truth is, practical use … just like advertising.

Whether it's plowing movies or fighting games continuously, the Galaxy A20s stays strong for at least 6 hours. On average, the current smartphone only reached about 5 hours of screen brightness is already appreciated.
