The incident was thought to have originated from T-Mobile, while Verizon, AT&T and Sprint reported that their telecom networks were still functioning properly. But the problem with T-Mobile also affected other carriers, when users tried to contact T-Mobile subscribers.
T-Mobile’s president of technology, Neville Ray, apologized to users for the incident throughout the United States, and said that T-Mobile engineers were trying to fix this problem as quickly as possible. .
