Following the trend, Black Shark 3 will also be equipped with a 120Hz screen

Demand for playing games on mobile devices is increasingly popular. Catching up with that trend, many manufacturers are quickly launching their own gaming smartphones, even some companies are preparing to launch the second and third generation.

Black Shark – a sub-brand of Xiaomi is one of them, is currently planning to launch a gaming smartphone Black Shark 3, after success from the previous generation. Recently, the specifications of this phone were unexpectedly leaked online just before the launch date.

Leaked information shows that Black Shark 3 will be equipped with 2K resolution screen and 120Hz refresh rate. Earlier, it was said that this smartphone will use the newly announced Snapdragon 865 processor.

Previous reports have suggested that the Black Shark 3 could be equipped with up to 16GB of RAM, supporting dual-mode 5G connectivity. If true, the Black Shark 3 gaming smartphone will be the first device in the world to have 16GB of RAM. So far, the highest RAM capacity on smartphones is only 12GB of RAM.

The upcoming Black Shark 3 is the successor to the previous generation Black Shark 2 Pro that was introduced in July last year. It has 6.39 inch screen with Full HD + resolution, Snapdragon 855+ processor and 4000mAh capacity battery, supports 27W fast charging. We didn't expect much in Black Shark 3, however a recent leak said it will have a larger 4700mAh battery.
