FastGo corrected for spreading false information about corona pneumonia

At 7 pm on February 1, some users of FastGo.mobi application (of FastGo Vietnam Joint Stock Company) said that they have received notification of this application about corona pneumonia.

The notice clearly stated: “Current affairs corner. Tonight the state will spray the corona flu vaccine across the nation. Therefore, should not go out on the road frame from 4-7:30 am on February 1, 2020 … “.

Earlier, on January 31, on social media spreading the same afternoon information “our state spraying corona flu vaccine nationwide.” On the evening of January 31, the Ministry of Health issued a statement confirming information that spraying corona flu vaccine in the sky was fake.

After broadcasting the message for 45 minutes, FastGo immediately sent correction information.

“Sorry and corrected notice! Due to the negligence of some business divisions, FastGo’s advance notice of spraying of vaccine is incorrect! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience & respect our customers’ quality, ”the notice from FastGo.mobi application.

In the context of an acute outbreak of pneumonia caused by a new strain of corona virus, a lot of false information on social networks has spread. Many people who spread fake news about the Wuhan pneumonia outbreak were invited to remind and punish them.

As of yesterday, the number of deaths from coronavirus infection (nCov) increased to 259 people. Worldwide, 11,948 people have been infected. Also yesterday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc announced an acute respiratory infection due to a new strain of corona virus (nCoV) in Vietnam.
