Citing anonymous sources, the Financial Times said, Facebook plans to further tighten false content about Covid-19 and consider placing a banner on top, encouraging users to take vaccines, once vaccines. -Please be licensed.

Facebook also encourages users to engage with content related to climate change, especially the Paris Climate Agreement, which Biden is committed to rejoin. Incumbent President Donald Trump announced his decision to withdraw the United States from the agreement in 2017, but officially took effect from November this year.

Facebook is believed to be hoping that Director of Global Affairs and Communications Nick Clegg will act as an important bridge to Washington. Clegg is considered an influential person because he served as Deputy Prime Minister of the British Government from 2010 to 2015, when Mr. Biden was also Vice President of the United States.

An anonymous senior figure at Facebook told the Financial Times that the company considers Clegg the best card to lobby the Biden government. “Many Democrats simply hate Facebook. We know Nick Clegg can’t save Facebook from it, but it will at least keep us listening, ”he said.

Mr. Biden’s campaign team has hinted at being tough on managing Facebook. Bill Russo, deputy director of communications for the campaign press group, accused Facebook of “tearing up the structure of democracy” by allowing false information to flood the platform after election day. Biden himself expressed his support for a policy that could threaten Facebook’s business. In January, he told the New York Times that he wanted to revoke Article 230 – the shield protecting social networks from their posting.
