The LS500 Laser projector model incorporates a special screen that improves the viewing experience in ambient light.
The Epson LS500 Laser comes in two sizes, including the 100-inch model for $ 5,000 (about VND 116 million) and the 120-inch model for $ 6,000 (about VND 139 million). With the price range on the Epson LS500 Laser in the same segment with LG Cinebeam Laser 4K projector.
However, the advantage of Epson projectors compared to LG is the integration of anti-reflection screens and specially designed for short-range projectors.
Epson says the projector’s screen eliminates ambient light by reflecting light, resulting in more vivid colors and deeper blacks even in bright environments. This is also one of the biggest disadvantages of a projector compared to a traditional TV, it is impossible to eliminate the impact of ambient light.

However, Epson’s 4K definition may not seem very accurate. Although the projector can produce 4K images, the internal panel only supports HD resolution. However, by raising the screen refresh rate (refresh rate) and moving pixels, the Epson LS500 Laser is still able to produce images that are twice as high as HD.
Epson says that this projector model is fully compatible with 4K content as announced and has the ability to process millions of pixels in parallel to achieve higher resolution.
In addition to supporting 4K resolution, the LS500 also supports HDR10 technology and the Rec color system. 709, screen brightness up to 4,000 lumens, 10-bit HDR color processing and video processing from analog to 12-bit digital. Epson LS500 can achieve 2,500,000: 1 contrast ratio.
The product will be sold in Q1 / 2020 with two color options: black and white.
