CEO Epione – Starting from my own pain

Few people would have thought that Epione’s brand story started with a backache.

During the long lockdown in Ho Chi Minh City, people have to spend more time working from home. CEO Minh Tri is no exception. The high intensity of work, the huge amount of work that needs to be handled continuously has made his body begin to appear pain in the waist, shoulders, nape…

In the search for a solution, he came across ergonomic products. However, he realized that these products on the market are of foreign origin, with prices that are difficult to reach for most Vietnamese people today.

Tri asked himself, why is a healthy product so difficult to access? Will Vietnamese people not have the opportunity to access really quality products, have to accept living with tormenting pain every day? Which is really the best solution?

It is these questions that are the beginning of the idea of ​​a first ergonomic brand for Vietnamese people in the young CEO’s mind.

Team of “novice” following “reckless”

Quickly getting to work, CEO Minh Tri found and contacted his associates. He told them his story and the doubts in his head. At that time, building a new brand by yourself, in such a young category in Vietnam as ergonomic products, was really a somewhat… reckless dream.

However, that does not mean that Tri gives up. He spent many days researching, optimizing, and drawing up specific plans for the new brand. In the eyes of the “danger”, the challenges out there are opportunities for transformation.

The burning enthusiasm and determination of the “danger” finally convinced the “dreamers”. Together, they turned difficulties into milestones to overcome, ideas into manuscripts, and seemingly far-fetched dreams became motivations for striving. With this momentum, even moving the mountains to fill the sea would probably be possible.

Epione was not born of one person, it was born from a collection of “darkers – amateurs” united together. Each person has a mission, each person has a personality, each person has their own strengths. Here, we meet a reckless CEO, an optimistic director of photography, dream writers, even practical technicians,… Besides, every journey that Epione has the help of companions. They believed in the vision, enthusiasm and efforts of the “riskies” that day, so that they themselves became “dreamers” on this journey.

Until everything has become a reality, it can be said that the biggest thing that CEO Minh Tri has passed on to everyone is faith. Belief in teammates, faith in the future, and belief in yourself.

Epione – The name has many meanings

Epione was inspired by the name of the Goddess of Healing in Greek mythology. It shows the core value of the brand which is the care for users’ health. Epione’s biggest goal is to help the generation of Vietnamese people balance three factors: health, work and life.

Besides, Epione is a combination of two words “Epic One”, which means “a great thing”. In the eyes of the “dreamers”, no dream is small, everyone is the main character in their own story. Epione wishes to be able to accompany everyone on the journey to realize the ambition “yours, mine, ours”.

If born from a team, why Epic “One”?

To build the Epione of today, is the contribution of many different individuals. Their common point is that they have a common ideal, which is how to help Vietnamese people access really quality products, good for health, balance between life and work.

From that “intersection”, everyone is now together on a new journey. They believe in the things they’ve done, are doing, and will do, that they really matter to this community.
